The deadline for Term 1 memberships is 23rd September. Please make sure to pay for the correct membership using the SU link below. If you're unsure as to which membership is right for you consult the tables below.
Rowers
The costs are set at the lowest possible level to cover all operations costs. These include equipment and vehicle maintenance and insurance as well as transport. The costs are weighted between squads depending on how many sessions members attend, what equipment they use and the number of members in each squad.
Novice

Do not purchase this option if you are doing Learn-to-Row. Only purchase after you have finished the course and joined the novice squad.

DESCRIPTION
Membership to national organisation, compulsory for those participating in affiliated events. Includes insurance.
Fine for cox or steersperson causing major boat damage, contributing towards cost of repair.
Storage of private boat on racks at Saltford. Paid in biannual instalments September and March (pricing per seat). Priority for VC scholars.
Cost of race entry, transport, and accommodation. Priced and purchased separately for each event.
Compulsory kit for races.

Financial Aid
We understand that university rowing can be expensive. There are a number of funds you can apply for to help pay for some of the costs above.
Alumni Grants
Our alumni organisation, the Nonesuch Rowing Foundation, offers small grants to students who receive bursaries or other means of financial assistance.
SU Activity Hardship Fund
The Student Union offers an annual fund for those who would find it difficult to participate in SU-affiliated activities without financial help.
